man’s diagnosis – cerebral palsy but…God is Good!

Thank you for sharing this wonderful Testimony and for your heart warming passion in sharing about our Awesome God and His great Love for us, everything He does is for good in our Lives, we never need to fear when we Trust in His Love and goodness, we can be assured His planes for us are very, very good…….

God is Good!

On Christmas Day 2011 I posted a story.

It was a story of the beginning of a healing from cerebral palsy (see link).

The testimony came from a friend, who had been walking with the family concerned.

My friend, now a grandmother, is a pillar in the church, a giant in the land, who calls things that are not as though they are … and she is a giant because of the battles she and her husband, also a giant, has fought and won … she is a giant because she has laid her life down and God has raised her up to walk in great authority over the land …

My friend has been healed of cancer, foster cared over 70 babies and children, all the while caring for her son who was diagnosed with cerebral palsy …

While not denying the “facts” she stood her…

  1. Thank you sister in Christ. Your story and words gives me comfort. Though I can’t really give the details, me and my wife are going through the hardest of times so far and what keeps us going is God’s love and a few family who came to help without question or conditions. It is during these times that I truly know who should I give my heart too. The a lot in this world celebrate us only when we are at the top but God and his children does even at our lowest.

    • I’m sorry friend that you are hurting, I wish we were with you both to hold your hands or even cry with you and perhaps offer Godly advise if needed or wanted. Ron and I have also been in some very bad storms and are still seeking to resolve a major one now but we are Trusting in God too, we did try to resolve it in our own strength but it just got more violent but now like you we are Trusting in The Lord to calm the waves, He never lets us down and is with us all the way. Your always welcome dear Island Traveler to e-mail us if wanted sometimes sharing helps greatly.

    • Hi Love, well we have no doubts do we that God is the God of the impossiable, apart from my Miracles and signs and wonders, we have seen and heard of others. Yes there are those who seek to deceive but then some people just do not believe in Miracles today, they must not realise God is the same yesterday, today and tomorrow. I do find it hard though to understand there reasoning, the Scriptuers they use are out of context and not what they are claiming they say but in time they may come to accept the reality of Miracles, although as Jesus said about those in His hometown, He could not do many Miracles becuse of their lack of faith.

God tells us to test the spirit of those who seek to teach us, I do this by their actions, without God’s Love they can’t have His Spirit and the Holy Spirit is not rude or self -seeking, He puts others first but those who share their experiences of God’s Love and Mercy which is also shown in His Miraculous healings, I’m like you I Trust them.

Christian Love Always dear – Anne

    • Hi Sally, it would be a wonderful addition but I feel you need to ask God is good first for permision, I only Rebloged her Post.

Tell me a little more about your book Sally, it sounds interesting and something I would love to read, sadly today so many don’t believe in Miracles, perhaps because of those who seek to deceive them but if you have experienced Miracles in your own life or know of those who have, you would find it very hard to doubt that our God of the impossiable does heal this way today.

It seems those who do doubt have put God in a box of their own understanding or they don’t Trust others and yes some are not to be Trusted but I always do Trust those who share their experiences untill they prove untrustworthy, they don’t have to earn my Trust first, if it were so when have they done enough, I know it is God who they will have to answer to not me if they seek to deceive.

I look forward to hearing about your book Sally.

Anne, my miracle books are entitled “God’s Little Miracle Book” and then book II and III. They are available at Amazon.com in e-reader and paperback. Each book has 27 true accounts I and my friends have witnessed. So, do you not know this person who wrote this piece?

        • Thanks Sally, how wonderful to be able to share God’s Miracles, I love doing this too, do you have a Blog ? I’m sure you would have some wonderful Stories to share on it and today so many have lost sight of the reality of how Big our God is. If I had chosen a name for your book, I would have called it… God’s Little Book of Big Miracles but I do understand that you meant that it was not a big book or perhaps someone else has already used that name.

I’m sorry Sally but I do not know this woman personally, she tells us she comes from Melbourne Australia and Aussie Land is very big and I live in Queensland, if not it would be nice to met the husband and wife who this Post is about . But I’m not sure if God is good is available at this time as she has not responded to her comments on her Post and it’s been a few days now. I have found over the last few years since I have been Blogging, if this happens it is either because the Author has not been well, or they are very busy, or they are new and don’t know that it is part of Blogging, I didn’t either at first but I soon realised, or their just rude and only interested in their own agenda, if it’s the first three, I wait for notification from WordPress and then try again but if it’s because of rudeness, I move on, if they don’t have real Love for others and it’s just words, then what they share is not from God by the empowering of The Holy Spirit , as they say actions speak louder than words.

If I can help in any other way let me know Sally, I don’t promote free advertising but I do appreciate genuine interest.

Were you able to contact God is so Good? I still have not had a reply but it may be a WordPress problem, I gave up checking for replies, not that I’m not interested or appreative but it was very time consuming, normally it means they haven’t responed if I don’t receive notification from WordPress.

Strange, God is Good did join up with me a few days ago but is now not showing, as you said I think WordPress has lost it or perhaps as I said someone new is at the controles.

I was blocked from joining up in the normal way on your side bar, perhaps someone does not want those who own Blogs to know when people join up with them or it’s a fault with WordPress settings. I too have also not been notified when some have joined up with me, maybe they were blocked from joining up on my sidebar too, I did ask WordPress why but was not answered ,

Hi Anne. I have just read your comments … And they are a fair call. I gave been ill, but also exceptionally busy with with my two children (and husband of course 🙂 ) and life with some massive shifts and changes.
However, your generosity in re blogging the story has rested with me, wanting the time to say thank you in a meaningful way …
I am happy to give details and email privately … to yourself or Sally. Please note, Sally has not made contact directly. In any event please feel welcome to use the email address privately to confirm who I am, and my integrity …
I am well known within the congregation of Stairway and many of my stories have been reproduced by my senior pastor Peter McHugh, verbally and in his recent book, “Above the Line” and my blog can be accessed through our church website under “social media” as “Godtestimonies”.
I also agree with you that we must double check our sources and clarify the truth if any claims … Essential if we are to walk with integrity in the world … God’s goodness does not need to be exaggerated, just told … Because He is sufficient in and if himself.
In any event, please forgive my tardiness … My priority has been posting in obedience (which I have been struggling to do recently) and health, family (including family health) and then local community with whom I walk … and responses to comments I try to go as I can … But sometimes the ones needing more thought get behind due to time and life pressures.
In any case. Blessings and condolences for your Mum’s death.

It would be nice to know your real name although I Love your Blog name, God is indeed Good. I have no need to check your credentials though, I know your words are genuine and that your focus is on The Lord and He is your passion, I’m thankful we met and I’m blessed by your Stand for God’s Truth not just in your words but in your heart too.

Please feel free to email me I would feel blessed if you did and Sally’s Blog address is godslittlemiraclebook.wordpress.com

Hi there. Thankyou for suggesting that Sally seek permission. Naturally there is copyright … But also an honouring if those that lived through the story. In fact Sally would be very wise to confirm all details with those concerned to be sure that all I have written is correct and true, but also, to request permission from my friend to print the story.
As someone who has practised law I believe it is imperative that we confirm details, get facts correct and seek permission from anyone whose story we tell, and while I have done this with my friend out of honour and respect (and for accuracy of the account), I suggest Sally should also do so before considering publishing any if the story … And in doing so, she may find an absolute mine of precious miraculous stories that my friend has walked in … She truly is a testament to the fact that God is Good!

        • Hi again God is Good, I feel that it is courtesy to ask for someone to use their stories when you know they are theirs or they have shared them, of course with Re-blogs I believe this is not needed but as there is often no response from the Author, perhaps this is not True or like you they may be behind, with me unfortunately WordPress’ confirmation was lost when my Computers crashed.

I don’t believe in Copy-rite when no money is involved, of course if someone makes a living by what they write then we need to ask for their permission and offer to pay but for me… freely I have received and so freely I give, most of the Stories I have received by e-mail over the years and most don’t have Authors and some have claimed different ones more than once. I don’t Copy-rite my own writing and Stories either, all are free to use them, if their changed to deceive, then their no longer mine.

I do seek to follow the rules of the land God is Good but not if they oppose our Abba Fathers, I also respect others right to choose but approve only if they agree with His guidelines.

I don’t force people to agree with me or manipulate them so they will do what I want but I also don’t back down and put God second, He is my total Authority and then Ron is but I also obey in submission to God those He has put in Authority over me in the Church or with the Government, either because of His good and perfect will or because of the choices of His people, we reap what we sow, it’s God’s discipline, knowing that as His Children, we will eventually come to our senses, so He can greatly bless us and others, lets hope we respond real soon as time is short and many need to be reached with His eternal Hope.

Thank you again for sharing God is Good, see you soon.

            Hi Anne.
Agreed – WordPress Reblogging is a different issue … I actually like how it allows for stories to be reblogged while yet giving recognition to the place of “discovery” which if not the original author, hopefully gives credit to him/her … Hence, your reblogging of the story I wrote of my friend’s journey was a great compliment! I was so pleased it was reproduced … as I have been when the stories have been told by others, from the pulpit, one to another, or when out and about and used as “precedent” so to speak (see Bill Johnson’s book on the power of the testimony) etc 🙂 and I hope that one day I will have the opportunity to write up a few more of her testimonies!

I believe that the way you appear to conduct yourself reflects His honour and Glory … and if we treat one another so, in honouring what the other does, without criticising them for what they are not, or do not do, then we will be in good stead …

Because I have practised law in the past, I try to be very careful about my stories’ accuracy and gaining of permission … I have been criticised at times for the detail, but those that read the stories to learn or to be encouraged see the detail as encouraging (if I can do it then they surely can! LOL) and if I am writing a story of someone else (like the one you reblogged) I actually ask permission, get a draft of the facts in their words, rewrite the story into a “God is Good format, get them to check it and correct any inaccuracies … and they then ok the posting prior to posting … some people find this a little too careful … I see it as honouring them, their story and honouring God …

In any event I think that we are all doing our best to extend the Kingdom of Heaven … and tell of the Good News of the Gospel … and even your recent post of your mother being able to speak “when she couldn’t” is yet another testament to His goodness.

Blessings and I will be in contact privately.

            • Thank you for your response God is Good and it seems we agree on what is most important and that is putting God first and giving Him the glory, not ourselves.

No I don’t criticize others weaknesses and shortcomings but their continued sins God tells us we are to rebuke and warn them about, we are all responsible as Jesus’ body to keep His Church pure and this includes us too, not to do so is not Love and it is for Love that we risk rejection like Jesus did, this is the same with error in Teaching but we must have confirmation of The Lord’s Truth, through the empowering of the Holy Spirit in understanding God’s inspired written word, after asking for His wisdom and believing we have received it but we can’t have His Perfect Love in the flesh, it must be put to death first.

There will come a time when our stand for The Lord will be against the Law and we will be imprisoned and Martyred and that is already happening in some parts of the world now. How many are willing to die for their Saviour.
