Jesus Rescued His Lost Sheep…..

Saved by Grace
My message today, is in part my personal search to find the answers I share with you in my comments and Posts, and how I found them to be True in my Journey with The Lord, some of them  I didn’t ask till much later because of confusion and fear, I will share about these on another Post soon. I will also share today how as a Lost sheep Jesus rescued me from what seemed like the pit of hell and restored me to His side.SD3I hope you will be blessed by God’s Truth as confirmed in the Scriptures and that it will give more assurance of our wonderful Unity in and through Jesus Christ, The King of kings and Lord of lords. It has brought me great freedom, Joy and Peace in knowing I am set free and thankfully so are you. SD3
Darrell 1 We would like to thank Darrell again for his wonderful graphics that he freely gives to others to use for encouragement and inspiration and we are grateful for his Love and support to many Christians.
SD3 Psalm 23SD3Luke 15:4 -7 What man of you, having an hundred sheep, if he lose one of them, doth not leave the ninety and nine in the wilderness, and go after that which is lost, until he find it? And when he hath found it, he layeth it on his shoulders, rejoicing. And when he cometh home, he calleth together his friends and neighbours, saying unto them, Rejoice with me; for I have found my sheep which was lost. I say unto you, that likewise Joy shall be in Heaven over one sinner that repenteth, more than over ninety and nine just persons, which need no repentance.SD3
Jesus Rescues His Lost Sheep

Have you been a lost sheep, I was very lost years ago, I had wandered away from the flock, although my life has been very hard this was the darkest time I experienced in my life, I felt I had failed everyone especially Jesus even though I didn’t know Him as I do now, it was just head knowledge not heart assurance.SD3An addiction to gambling that was part of my flesh had me in bondage before I went to Church and not knowing we need to put the flesh to death and how to do this, this addiction took hold of me again, and had a grip on me so tight that it was destroying all the goodness in me, in the end I was crushed and shamed.SD3
Romans 6:20-22 For when ye were the servants of sin, ye were free from righteousness. What fruit had ye then in those things where of ye are now ashamed? for the end of those things is death. But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto Holiness, and the end everlasting life.SD3
I believed at the time that I was unwanted and unloved even by God and that I deserved to be this way, I wanted to end my life but I was worried others would be hurt, there seemed no hope but Jesus our Loving Shepherd rescued me and healed me and He set me free, I did not deserve this, it was by Grace alone.SD3
Jesus-restores my soulSD3
I came to true heart repentance after seeing my own wretchedness and was then anointed by an Elder in the Church and delivered from the gambling addiction, I asked for God’s forgiveness and from those I had hurt and was also healed Miraculously at this time of two life threatening conditions, a sign of God’s forgiveness through the Prayers of this righteous man. ( James 5:13-16 ) SD3

surrender AllSD3

I had indeed been like the Prodigal son, dead in my sin but thankfully like him I was not dead spiritually but I was eating pigs food like he did as I splashed in the mud but when I came to my senses and it was not just head knowledge as it had been before, God forgave me, healed and restored me and  fed me from His Royal bounty, He lifted me up and put a new song in my heart.
.
God’s Love always seeks to restore not to crush, destroy or cause separation and division, its not His will anyone perishes, which means to be Eternally separated from Him, He is the patient with us even in our darkest times but cannot fellowship with us in Spirit until we repent.SD3
How I came to be led away happened slowly, I was involved with a Church for many years and I found friendship and acceptance, the Leadership were caring and committed and I felt I knew what being a Christian involved but was trying in my own strength to be all I thought I should be,  I didn’t know what True heart repentance was or what was needed to be Born again of God’s seed and my ungodly actions later showed this to be a reality and sadly I saw others walk the same path at that time and some still do so today in and out of the Church and I believe like I was, they have no solid foundation.SD3
I pray now as I share my Life Story both in Posts and comments, that others will be warned but more so that hearts will be touched, healed and encouraged to know how God really sees them, which is as His Priceless Treasure and so they like us will aim to be all they are meant to be in Christ Jesus our Lord and Saviour and closest Friend.SD3
My error was believing that it all just happened, that we didn’t have to do anything we were just sapped, all I had to do was say I believed even though I didn’t really know what it meant to believe in Jesus, they were words without heart conviction or understanding, Yes in my heart was a desire to know Him and now I know I was covered by The Blood of Christ but I was not washed, I was like some other Christians are, I knew of Jesus but did not know Him in my heart as I do today but He knew me.SD3

fruitSD3
I also didn’t realise we are Saved and being Saved that I had been set free from the slavery of sin and if I chose to walk in The fruit of The Spirit by His empowering  my flesh would be put to death, this is what causes us to sin, nor did I know how to mature and aim for perfection in Love, as Paul explains, all this Teaching is in Scripture and was taught in the early Church.SD3

I remained Spiritually Childish, I did not mature, I never knew that I could ask for God’s wisdom so that by the empowering of The Holy Spirit Jesus could Teach me all that was needed, He tells us to ask so we can receive but not doubt we have, He is our Light in The darkness, in Him we Shine or Sparkle, we are noticeable.(1Corinthians2:9-16)  SD31John 5:20 And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know Him that is True, and we are in Him that is True, even in His Son Jesus Christ. This is the True God, and eternal life.SD3

DoubtsSD3
I continued on my journey but found about 5 years ago even though I had been rescued many years before, that I was becoming very confused after reading and hearing all the different  beliefs and teaching in Churches and on the Internet, in books, Videos and the media etc
.
But knowing that The Holy Spirit does not say one thing to one person and something different to somebody else when it contradicts, I knew there must be error in Teaching, by popular Evangelists and Teachers and even through established and recognized Churches and Bible Colleges.  SD3In desperation I asked God to help me know His Truth and to help my unbelief or doubts, He showed me my need to ask for and believe I had received His wisdom, Jesus now Teaches and leads me in knowing His Truth which is confirmed in the Scriptures.SD3Proverbs 4:7  Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding.SD3
Matthew 10:26-28 Fear them not therefore: for there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; and hid, that shall not be known. What I tell you in darkness, that speak ye in light: and what ye hear in the ear, that preach ye upon the housetops.
SD3
Psalm 32:8 I will instruct you and teach you in the way you shall go. I will guide you with Mine eye.SD3God’s Love and Mercy are never-ending but He is Holy and we are to be too, it is not works to have heart repentance or to seek to be Holy, it’s obedience.SD3

Jesus said to the woman caught in Adultery that He did not condemn her, nor does He condemn His lost sheep but like with this woman, He tells us to go and sin no more… Is that possible, the wonderful Truth is yes, Jesus has set us free from the slavery of sin, we are no longer in bondage, we are to reckon ourselves dead to sin and be perfected in Love, not claim we will always sin.SD3
No Temptation to sin will be greater than we can bear, when we are tempted,  we come close to Jesus, He is our Amour, we seek Him for deliverance, we make every thought captive to Him and as we choose to walk in The Fruit of The Spirit,  He will give us the victory in doing this and this has been proven to me to be100%True when I have been tempted to sin.SD3
John 8:34-36 Jesus replied, “I tell you the truth, everyone who sins is a slave to sin. Now a slave has no permanent place in the family, but a son belongs to it forever. So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.SD3
Grace 7SD3
God knows those who are His from Eternity, and He knew us in the flesh from the time we were conceived and so He chose us because of His foreknowledge of our heart repentance to be conformed into the image of Jesus His Son and to be cleansed from all unrighteousness and as we choose His guidelines and  walk in the Fruit of The Spirit,  He empowers us to do so and we walk righteously and in Love as Jesus did and so we are perfected in Love. SD3Romans 8:28-30 And we know that all things work together for good to them that Love God, to them who are the called according to His purpose. For whom He did foreknow, He also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren. Moreover whom He did predestinate, them He also called: and whom He called, them He also justified: and whom He justified, them He also glorified.SD3
We are Saved and being Saved, until we are perfected in His Love we are under Grace, if  He is within us and we are adopted into His Family we cannot lose our Salvation and we no longer sin, we can’t, we have God’s seed, His Nature, our old corrupt Nature that we were born with has gone the new has come, we have the mind of Christ so we don’t choose to sin and so there will be no judgment for punishment, only for rewards.SD31 John 3:1-11 (9) No one who is Born of God will continue to sin, because God’s seed remains in him; he cannot go on sinning, because he has been Born of God.SD3

So what happens if we have fallen into sin like I did and many others but have not rejected Jesus in our heart which is what it means to fall away.SD3

God our PotterSD3
Sin is in no way referring to our shortcomings and weaknesses, we all have them,  perhaps I have more than most but as we seek God He will mould and shape us and equip us and also empower us to do His good works as we walk in the Fruit of The Spirit. SD3We are not deemed worthless or useless because we fell into sin,  we see how powerfully God used  Abraham, Moses, David, Paul, Peter, Rehab, Mary Magdalene and other Christians throughout the ages regardless of their past sin and as a lost sheep who has repented, we are restored fully and will be washed clean and be equipped and used by God to do His good works that He has prepared in advance for us to do.SD3
Jesus intercedes for us. 123SD3
Sin  puts us into bondage and separates us from God. Thankfully if we sin before we are perfected in Love, even though we are still in darkness we have an Advocate who intercedes for us, Jesus Christ, He will stand up for us as He did for Peter and all who have sinned but have come to heart repentance and have not rejected Him in their heart after knowing His Truth.SD3

When we have True heart repentance, we turn away from sin and seek to do good by the empowering of the Holy Spirit, not because we have to but because we want too. SD3
Trust in God 1SD3
We are in the end times but Jesus hasn’t returned yet, there is still time to come to True heart repentance to seek the Lord passionately, while we are still in the early years of the great Tribulation, it will be too late after the Rapture or first Sickle as it is called in Revelation. It is not God’s will anyone perishes, He is patient, He knew we were His and so He gave us time the same as He does with those who don’t know Him or how much He Loves them. SD3

I long to tell others of the Hope we have in Him, to plant the seeds that will be used to bring them to accept God’s free gift of Salvation and if  my message today helps prevent others from walking the cold hard rocky road I walked, then regardless of the cost to me personally it will be worth it.SD3
Teach them everythig I have told youSD3

I will Post again soon and will answer some questions that many ask, sometimes in fear, such as what does it mean to blaspheme The Holy Spirit the unforgivable sin and how we can be sure we will not be turned away by Jesus like those who will say Lord, Lord but will be lost or how do we know Jesus is in our heart and not just in our head. I will also share in more detail why some can’t be brought back to repentance ( Hebrews 6) and we will look again at why we can’t lose our Salvation when we have been Born again and also Satan’s Tricks and Hell, his evil creation.SD3

Thank you for listening and may we be greatly blessed as we seek God’s Truth in all it’s fullness but let’s do so not because we have to but because we Love Him and all His Family, our Brothers and Sisters in The Lord.SD3Christian Love  from both of us – Anne.SD3

Annie, As you shared, confessing faith in Jesus Christ is just the beginning of our spiritual walk. It is a journey that refines and matures us as we use our experiences to bring glory to God and to witness God’s goodness to others. Our journeys of faith here on earth end in heaven!

As I read your testimony, the following verse kept coming to my mind. Psalm 40:2, “He lifted me out of the slimy pit, out of the mud and mire; he set my feet on a rock and gave me a firm place to stand.” You are standing on the rock of Jesus Christ! Keep standing and proclaiming because others need to know the strength and the refuge of our Lord too!

    • Thank you Debbie for sharing (Psalm40:2)and yes I was in a slimy Pit of sin, fear, confusion and despair and the only way out I thought was to escape through death but God had other Plans and He planted a thought that drew me to Him, I went looking and found Hope and yes He is my Rock and my foundation.

I also believe our Maturity is a refining process Debbie but we have to know what we need to do to be Perfected in Love and Aim for it and it is mostly not Taught today but was in the early Church and is very much confirmed in Scripture. Will God bring it to our understanding, yes if we Ask, Seek and Knock but many sit back and wait for it to happen, even continuing to sin and so they are still in darkness.

I think you have read my Message Debbie about the confusion I had as to what was God’s Truth but if not it is below.

      Confusion- https://freedomborn.wordpress.com/2014/06/16/my-battle-with-confusion/

Thank you Debbie my dear Christian Sister, I always feel so very Blessed after sharing with you on our Blogs and I agree I don’t want others to follow me but Jesus who will lead us into all Truth, He may use you or me as a vessel to share of His Love and Eternal Hope, to do His good Works but yes it is Him whom we seek as our Teacher through the empowering of The Holy Spirit.

Christian Love and Blessings – Annie.

    • Dear Beverly my Loving Sister in Christ Jesus, how very blessed I am to have met you , you Beauty within sparkles even though you have endured so much heartache, your Testimony, not so much what you have suffered but how you have without becoming bitter and twisted shows Jesus has kept you safe during your Storms.

My first thought was I want you to come and live in Australia so I can care for you and the girls, and give you comfort and happy times and good memories and yes that offer is always there for you but I realize right now that you have ties that would be very hard to break. But you will never be far from me because you are in my heart to stay, God planned it that way.

You have moved me to tears, you have given me joy, you have uplifted and encouraged me, your a great Sister!

  6. Excellent Anne! There is much glorious truth in this post. You hit the nail right on the head as far as I’m concerned.

Believers know of sanctification’s certainty and that knowledge is gained by spiritual perception. Christians know intuitively—though they may not always fully understand and sense it experientially—that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him. God harmonizes all things together for believers’ ultimate good because His goal is to bring them to perfection in His presence. Even adversities and afflictions contribute to that end. It is significant that a believer’s love for God follows God’s calling of him and is undoubtedly the product of the indwelling Holy Spirit.

The very act of committing sin reveals that the one doing the act is under the power and authority of sin. Sin is personified as a cruel master. People can become truly free by becoming children of God by faith in Christ!

    • You are a very Special man in Christ Jesus Pastor Joe, I have never known a man to be as humble and yet as confident in the Lord as you are. I know this is because your Pride is not carnal but is focused on who you are in Christ Jesus, never let Satan take that from you even if it’s just in your thinking, it’s an Eternal gift from God.

When I read your messages on your Blog or listen to your Audios, I wish very much that I could be part of your Church family and under your Godly Leadership but perhaps one day we will be able to visit America again and come and enjoy fellowship with you and your Wife and Children.

What a beautiful testimony of God’s love, mercy and grace! Although some of my beliefs differ and I am still seeking to understand others, we agree on the essentials. Thank you for visiting my blog and inviting me to share in your journey.

    • Thank you Rene for visiting and for your kind words of encouragement, I never followed Paganism but I did become involved with some of the teaching of the Occult, it almost destroyed my new found faith but Jesus rescued me through Christians sharing God’s Truth in the Scriptures, not just by their own understanding which others had shared.

God tells us we are to be of one mind (see Scripture below ), which means we don’t even agree to disagree. I would like to resolve our differences with Scriptural confirmation, as He tells us to do, if you would like to do the same Rene, than come and visit me in the Garden Sanctuary on the link below, although we can also do so here but it is quieter there and we have more privacy as there are not so many followers.

1 Corinthians 1: 10 Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you; but that ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment.

Aww, thank you, Anne, I appreciate your offer, but. I am afraid the differences have been shared between many Christians for centuries if not millennia, and both sides use Scripture in an attempt to resolve those differences, and yet, the differences remain. I actually am in the process of studying and discussing a couple of the issues and have changed my mind on some things. I am still learning.

        • I appreciate you honesty Rene and I have walked in your shoes, I will leave another link below for you. Even though I was confused and perhaps it was why I was confused, I knew there was only God’s Truth, no other that we are to Trust in and I knew as confirmed in Scripture (1Corinthians 2-9-16 ) that the Holy Spirit did not say one thing to one person and something different to another when it contradicted, although He may reveal something to you that you can share with me or I with you but it will always be confirmed in Scripture as Jesus leads us into all Truth.

          Confused – https://freedomborn.wordpress.com/2014/06/16/my-battle-with-confusion/

I don’t share anything Rene that cannot be confirmed with God’s Truth by the empowering of The Holy Spirit, not man’s understanding, but yes you are right many are deceived or in error and there is a reason why they are but I will leave my Post to explain further.

The problem is when we are deceived, we do not realize we are deceived. I agree that the truth can be known and confirmed by Scripture, especially if we will take the time to really study it, going back to the original languages, seeking the Spirit’s guidance, and being able to let go of something we have strongly believed if it contradicts what the Spirit reveals. Some differences are not essential enough to fret and divide over. Others are non-negotiable. I think we agree on the essentials. 🙂

            • We will not be deceived if we have asked and received God’s wisdom Rene by the empowering of The Holy Spirit but if we Study Scripture with our Carnal flesh and Trust in worldly wisdom or agree with those who do, we will not understand and will be deceived into believing we are right or they are right, this is why we are to put our flesh to death so we are not self – focused but instead we seek Jesus to lead us into all understanding, He is our Teacher and we do what He tells us to do…Seek, Ask and Knock, so we can be complete.

But yes I agree Rene, what colour the curtains are in the Church does not matter but anything concerning the Scriptures, which are God’s inspired words, does matter, they cannot be added to or taken away from as confirmed in Reverlation22, we are to be of one mind, not disjointed, Paul warned about disunity, we are to follow Christ not man but as we can see with all the different Denominations and House Churches etc man either argued or agreed to disagree but never did.

Thank you for sharing this post with me, Anne. I can see some strong similarities in our stories, as I also had a time of sin of which I was terribly ashamed to the point of being suicidal. It was only God’s power and grace that has enabled me to change. I see it as a miracle. A time of searching and confusion about what I believed ended in having a renewed faith in Jesus the Truth, and a commitment to follow Him and trust in his righteousness. This was about 3 years ago, even though I had been a Christian since childhood. God is faithful.

I have believed in god my whole life and was always confident growing up I was going to heaven, have always had the holy spirit, but I had hardened my heart for 6 years from when I was 13-18, against my mom and stopped loving her because I wouldn’t get my way about things and never gave in even as the holy spirit would convict me to give in and love her and obey, but I didn’t for years, I quenched him so much and everything I had in my and in my heart. I turned back to god after I turned 18 cause after all that hardened and straying, I was lost, completely lost. I lost everything. I no longer had any feeling or love or life in me everything was dark I couldn’t see the light anymore in anything just complete total empty darkness. so I would read the bible and im 19 now but for the past year I have had the fear of going to hell because of how my life is now, I got a million scriptures going through my mind all day, I constantly listen to Christian music to praise and feel the holy spirit. but for a hole year I have been completely empty of all light love and life, my heart is like a rock with nothing in it. I feel totally cut off and I have fear through my whole heart and soul 24/7, im so empty of life I cant find life in me no matter how hard I try to find it its not their and I just burn with fear that’s it. I always worry if my heart is in unbelief I cant ever come back to the side of belief, obedience and the light. I worry if I had rejected god in my heart or kicked him out cause I don’t feel anything in it anymore just nothingness. theirs like 50 scriptures at least like all the condemning ones which cause me to burn with fear just have a glance at them or thinking about them. ones like Hebrews 6:4-6-timothy- some have fallen away from the faith- 2 timothy 2:13
the vine and the branches, I feel cut off and don’t feel like im engrafted in the vine anymore, I haven’t had the fruits of the spirit for over a year no life whatsoever. but even though I have all this going on their is one thing I still have and that’s the holy spirit. I can only feel him when I open up to him now, I don’t feel the eternal life he gives nor the fruits of the spirit. no matter how hard I try and find it. I hope and wish the onced saved always saved is true, because If its not I don’t know I could still possible come back to the side of secureness of being safe in salvation. I can think of a few of the good scriptures that seem like it shows were safe and secure no matter where were at in life like…romans 8. and when jesus says I have come down to do the will of my father and his will his that I lose nothing of all that he has given me but raise it up at the last day. we are sealed with the holy spirit until the day of redemption. I have not lost but one of all that you have given me and that 1 was the son of perdition which was doomed to do desctruction… but theirs lots of arguments going on about all this half of everybody says once saved always saved other half says no you can lose your salvation. but my main thing that keeps me in their and makes me think I still have a chance to be saved and am so far as to be beyond saving, is that I can still feel the holy spirit. I feel the spirit of grace love and all that but even with that I still fear all day and night.

    • Dear Shane, it is the fear you have now, it’s not reality that makes you feel lost and empty, God knows those who are His from Eternity, He never is far from us, the wall we build prevents our fellowship with Him through the bricks of rebellion we pile up, but you have broken it down with your humble heart repentance, which was after you came to your senses, this is the same as I shared about my own life in this Post.

We cannot loose our Salvation Shane, if we are a Child of God whom He has known from Eternity. He knew we would repent and accept His free gift of Salvation in Christ Jesus even before we were conceived and He knew that we would never reject Jesus in our heart, He choose us to be conformed into His image knowing all this and so we will be, None of us who are His will be lost.

Shane your words show you haven’t rejected Jesus, but how do we know if we belong to God, He tells us through the empowering of The Holy Spirit as Jesus our only Teacher gives us His understanding through God’s inspired written word, having asked for and received His wisdom. Many think to sin is to fall away and to be lost Eternally but it just shows our immaturity as Paul said not that we are damned but repentance is needed.

Those who are real Atheists in their heart, are like Satan in their Nature, they have no Love , you do Shane or we wouldn’t be having this conversation, you would be happy in your denial of God and in your impurity and would not worry that He may not accept you, your conscience would be dead, your heart would be very hard and your soul lost in your self- pride and hatred .

Real Atheists reject Jesus who is the only One that can save them and bring them to full repentance or rescue them from the mud that clings and pollutes and they continue to reject Him, thereby crucifying Him again and again, even after knowing of Him and even having being gifted like King Saul was with a Spiritual gift. Saul’s gift was Prophesy but in the end he still turned to witchcraft for answers instead of God but unlike King David, he never repented, as far as we know going by Scripture God grieved at his hard heart and so Saul was drowned in the mud he splashed in.

We can’t be forgiven if we don’t repent, this is what it means to believe in Jesus as our Lord and Saviour, we have His forgiveness and He died also to set us free from the slavery of sin, so we would not sin.

From what you have shared Shane, you have repented which means we are sorry for the evil we have done, that hurt God, others and ourselves and so we turn from evil and do good by The Spirits empowering, this puts our evil flesh to death, good and evil cannot co-exist. In doing good we reflect that we were created in God’s likeness and have His seed and so have not willingly become a reflection of Satans. We are then conformed into the image of Jesus and we walk as He walked in Love and Holiness being perfected in Love and having His mind, choosing always to do good.

Those who rejected Jesus in their heart, were never God’s in the first place or they wouldn’t have done this and turned completely away from Him, never seeking His forgiveness not even facing death but instead continuing to follow after the evil and idolatrous ways of the world, which lead them in the end to Eternal separation from God because in their heart there was no repentance even at the end so it killed all the goodness in them .

But we are never to Judge someone’s Salvation, only God knows their Eternal Destiny, they may come to heart repentance on their deathbed by the good seeds that have been planted in their hearts.

Shane do you choose to Love others or hate them ? do you wish them good or harm ? do you seek to hurt them or do you willingly forgive them ? do you do good to them even if they reject and hurt you, do you Love them compassionately, do you seek revenge? do you willingly choose to offer material help to those in need? what we do to and for others we are doing to and for Jesus.

Jesus never condemns Shane, Satan does…. go and choose to sin no more and be the Man God has called you to be .

We remember He Always Loves, always seeks to restore not to crush, or destroy or cause separation and division, its not His will anyone perishes, which means to be Eternally separated from Him, He is the patient with us even in our darkest times but He cannot fellowship with us in Spirit until we repent from the heart which will be shown in our lives not by force or legalism but by Love.

Christian Love from us both – Anne

P.S This response Shane has a lot of detail so I didn’t add the Scripture in that confirms all that I shared but I will be happy to share them with you if wanted by e-mail or on the Blog.

i know eternal life isn’t in me anymore and feel empty of love to and all gods goodness, like if their is nothing left in my heart no feel at all for anything, but I hear from my pastors and my Christian family that you can get your eternal life back, and if my heart is in unbelief I always worry if I can be back on the side of belief or not, they say I can do that too, but idk I just feel cut off and am good for nothing and am just waiting to be eternally separated from god, bible says whoever has the son has life whoever does not have the son does not have life, and he says if you don’t abide in me you will be cut off guessing that means from eternal life too, I don’t have eternal life so what does this mean for me! I still have the holy spirit though, and the bible says this is how we know we have abideth in him by the spirit he has given us…so I mean makes me think I still have a chance. if it is true that you can lose your salvation, don’t you think the bible would talk a lot about the holy spirit leaving a Christian, either in this life or on judgement day, but nowhere I don’t think in the newtestament does it say the holy spirit can be taken after its given, but it says we are sealed with the holy spirit until the day of redemption. and a few questions I have- since we are his sheep can any of us who have the spirit who are god’s ever be eternally separated? cause people say we cannot be snatched out of god’s hand but we can decide to leave, idk I just feel like im doomed and theirs no chance for me now, I just need all the assurance I can of once saved always saved.

        • Hi Shane, thanks for coming back to share with me, I understand your confusion I was also full of doubts after hearing different understanding of God’s Truth and they all claimed that the Holy Spirit was leading them but what they said was different and The Spirit does not contradict Himself.

So being desperate I called out to God and He lead me to a verse that gave me Hope and assurance, it talked about a man who asked Jesus to heal his son, Jesus said to him …Do you believe and the man said yes but help my unbelief, Mark 9:24 praise God this worked for me too which I can now testify about, very soon after this God gave me another verse James1:5-8 which tells us if we ask for His wisdom He will give it to us and now I see the Bible as a whole picture not just bits and pieces, I’m still learning but what Jesus has shown me I have no doubt about.

If we reject Jesus Shane we will die Spiritually because we are cut off from Him and He is our substance our bread and living water, He keeps us Spiritually alive but if we reject Him this means we never had Salvation or really believed in our heart in the first place and so our consciences will deaden the more we sin and our hearts will harden and we will be Eternally separated from God.

But look at the Prodigal son, he was dead in his sin and not at all Happy Clappy! but he came to his senses and repented and he was welcomed back in grand manner.

How far is too far, well it’s when we no longer believe in Jesus because we have rejected Him in our heart… Some Atheists who claim not to believe in Jesus have not rejected Him but some have.

Shane you still believe in Jesus or we wouldn’t be having this conversation, you haven’t lost your Salvation because you haven’t rejected Him, which is the only way you can, how can we be saved if we reject the one who saves us.

What you now need to do Shane to get your Joy back, is walk in The Spirit , do the good things that show His fruit , choose to show Love and Kindness to others, He will empower you to do so as you choose to, than your good feelings will return.

Always feel free to visit us Shane and let me know how you go as you choose to walk as Jesus walked in The Spirit.

            • Dear Shane, you are not dead yet so you have not lost your Salvation and even if you had said I don’t care if I’m a Christian anymore and even though you have sinned by not respecting your Mother, you can still say the opposite and do the opposite, which is walk in the Spirit and Love and obey your Mum and be kind to her. Do you remember Peter, Jesus Disciple, he denied Jesus 3 times but he repented and became a great man of God and so did others both men and woman.

So Shane even if you have done the worst, and have grieved The Holy Spirit, you can ask forgiveness, like Peter did, you are not dead yet. Those who go back to the mud and choose to stay there all their earthly lives, even though they know the Truth, their hearts become so hardened by their sin, that they never repent, and if they continue to reject Jesus, who is the one who Saves us, right up until they die, how can they be brought back to repentance, this is what it means to reject Jesus in your heart, yes after your dead it’s too late to repent but not before.

As I was praying for you Shane. Jesus reminded me of a Post, He does this often when I’m sharing (see link below) the Scripture on it will reassure you. What is happening is that Satan is trying to make you believe that God won’t forgive you, he is telling you you’ve gone to far, you have failed and there is no way back but our Lord and Saviour, your Best Friend, Jesus Christ, our Loving good Shepherd, as soon as you said sorry and He knows you meant it because He knows your heart, anyway we would not be having this conversation if you were not sorry… He interceded for you and you were forgiven by God. But Satan wants you to be in great despair so you won’t realize that you were forgiven, or just how much Jesus Loves you, so Satan also called the Devil etc Lies to you and tells you that you are worthless and God does not want you and that it’s too late to repent and start over … They are ALL – LIES – LIES- LIES.

  12. BEWARE OF DISTORTED SHEEP-TALK

Do dead sheep have eternal security? Can sheep ever be lost? The favorite proof text of advocates for the erroneous doctrine of “once saved always saved” is John 10:27-28.

John 10:27-28 My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me, 28 and I give eternal life to them, and they will never perish; and no one will snatch them out of My hand.

Jesus said His sheep hear is voice. Jesus told us all how to become a member of His flock. (Mark 16:16 He who has believed and has been baptized shall be saved…..) If you have not believed and have not been baptized in water, then you have not listened to the voice of Jesus. There is only one way to become a sheep.

Jesus said His sheep follow Him, He did not say that He would force them to become sheep.

Jesus said His sheep will be given eternal life and no one will snatch them from His hand.

No one can snatch you from the hand of Jesus, however, you can choose to leave His hand voluntarily.

Matthew 10:22 You will be hated by all because of My name, but it is the one who has endured to the end who will be saved.

Why would Jesus instruct His sheep to endure to the end, in order to be saved, if the sheep were once saved always saved?

DO DEAD SHEEP HAVE ETERNAL SECURITY?

Acts 5:1-11…..3 But Peter said, “Ananias, why has Satan filled your heart to lie to the Holy Spirit and keep back some of the price of the land? 4 …..You have not lied to men but to God.”5 And as he heard these words, Ananias fell down and breathed his last. (Did this dead sheep, who lied to God, have eternal security?)

Acts 5:11 And great fear came over the whole church, and over all who heard of these things.(Why would the whole church be in fear because of two dead sheep, if all the sheep were once saved always saved?)

    SHEEP HAVE FREE-WILL!

1 Timothy 5:14-15 Therefore, I want younger widows to get married, bear children, keep house, and give the enemy no occasion for reproach; 15 for some have already turned aside to follow Satan.

Satan did not snatch these widows from the hand of Jesus, these sheep made a choice to follow Satan.

1 Timothy 6:10 For the love of money is a root of all sorts of evil, and some by longing for it have wandered away from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs.

The love of money can cause sheep to wander from the faith. Satan has no power to force people from the faith. Men have a choice.

1 Timothy 4:1 But the Spirit explicitly says that in later times some will fall away from the faith…..

The Holy Spirit says some sheep will fall from the faith.
Who do you trust, the Holy Spirit or John Calvin?

DO UNREPENTANT SHEEP, WHO HAVE GONE ASTRAY, HAVE ETERNAL SECURITY? NO!

    • Steve what a lot of people are not aware of is when we are saved, it is not on earth, this is where we show we are saved. God knows those who are His and has from Eternity, He knows all things and He knew we would repent and accept the free gift of eternal life in Christ Jesus before we were conceived and that we would not fall away by rejecting Jesus who saves us and sets us free from the slavery of sin , this is the unforgivable sin and is blaspheming the Holy Spirit we are calling Him a liar, He tells us Jesus is the only way to be saved. So knowing we wouldn’t do this God chose us to be conformed into the image of Jesus Christ, you cannot be changed back when you are perfected in Love, which is what this means.

Salvation is not just about saying we believe, it is knowing what that means and it is showing we are Born again and Baptized not just by water, which shows our repentance but also by the Spirit and this means we are Born again and have God’s seed or Nature, which means we do not continue to sin or do we even choose to sin as we have the mind of Christ (1Corinthians2: 9-16)

1 John 3 :1-12 (9 ) No one who is born of God will continue to sin, because God’s seed remains in him; he cannot go on sinning, because he has been born of God.

1 John 4:17-19 Herein is our Love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as He is, so are we in this world.

We were all lost sheep including you Steve, we have all fallen short of the glory of God and have all sinned, some more than others and for longer, He rescues us, we are like the Prodigal Son, dead in our sins but when we come to our senses we are welcomed back as part of the Royal family of God, this is God’s grace that comes from Love , He is Love.

We will endure to the end if we are those God knows are His because He will keep us strong and protect our soul, how, by empowering us to obey His Commandments, so we do not reap the evil which destroys our soul, we put our flesh to death that causes us to sin by The empowering of The Holy Spirit and we can because no Temptation will be greater then we can bear, we have been set free (John 8:34-36 )

Colossians 3:4-6 When Christ, who is your life, appears, then you also will appear with Him in glory. Put to death, therefore, whatever belongs to your earthly nature: sexual immorality, impurity, lust, evil desires and greed, which is idolatry. Because of these, the wrath of God is coming.

Romans 8 :12-15 Therefore, brothers, we have an obligation—but it is not to the sinful nature, to live according to it. or if you live according to the sinful nature, you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the misdeeds of the body, you will live, because those who are led by the Spirit of God are sons of God.

1 John 4:17-19 Herein is our Love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as He is, so are we in this world. There is no fear in Love; but perfect Love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in Love. We Love Him, because He first Loved us.

Please feel welcome Steve to continue to follow our Blog and yes indeed beware of distorted sheep talk which shows lack of Godly wisdom, which means it was not asked for so not received or if asked for not believed received, see link below.

I also enjoy it when people share their links because you know what their heart focus is like too. With Suicide as with other suffering unless you have dealt with it then it is hard to put yourself in someones elses shoes and understand their pain.

I hope you will be able T to let go and move on Greg will never really be gone as long as he is in your heart.

  15. I’m happy for your testimony and grateful for your encouragement.
No matter how far we have wondered, God’s arms are always open and ready to welcome us.
Our salvation is by God’s mercy and grace, not necessarily because of our smartness or uniqueness.
God Himself has given us both the willingness and the ability to do according to His good pleasure.
Faith in Christ and obedience to His spirit makes us sons.
Our lives ought to be lives of gratitude and submission to God’s will, which is expressly written in His word.
To love others, just as He has loved us, has become our primary assignment.
    Thanks much for sharing, Grannie!
You mean much and will always mean much.

We are in the end times and the Scriptures tell us what signs to look for as we wait for Jesus’ return and after the first Sickle or Rapture as it is called today there will be no more opportunity to call upon the Lord but sadly those who will be left won’t want to anyway, they have chosen the Beast and rejected Jesus as their King of kings and Lord of lords.

    • Thank you Tricia, I hope they will be blessed but also warned and encouraged to seek the Lord with all their heart , if we don’t and just believe what others tell us or don’t tell us and ignore what God confirms in the Scriptures, then it is very easy for us to go in the wrong direction like I did, although I was still confused after comming to repentance, I’m thankful that I sought Jesus and not others for answers although He did use people along the way but what they shared was confirmed in the Bible when looked at as a compleat picture not just bits and pices.

Thank you Tricia you are a blessing to me, you are not only Loving but also willing to share from your heart when needed to help others, like Paul and other Christians have done through the ages.
