We sometimes find in life that the one person who we thought would never
let us down does, but we can know without a doubt Jesus won’t …
He will never let us down.
We may have our heart broken, probably even more than once, and it’s hard each time.

So we need to ask Jesus to heal our broken heart…He is the only one who can.
Other hearts may break too, so we remember how it felt when ours was broken, and offer the help we received…
Jesus won’t let them down either.
.
2 Corinthians 1:3-5 Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort; Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God. For as the sufferings of Christ abound in us, so our consolation also aboundeth by Christ.
.
We may fight with our best friend or blame a new love for things an old one did.

They may be hurting too.

Why worry because we are growing older… Age is in the heart, not the body. We Take time to enjoy each day and those we Love. Looking forward to the future with Hope, which we will always find in Jesus Christ.

We may cry because time is passing too fast, and there will come a time when we’ll eventually loose someone we Love and we need to accept physical death as part of our earthly life, to remember the special times we shared with them and look forward to the ones we will share.

So we take our pictures but keep special memories in our heart too, and keep our focus on Jesus…
A picture of Him doesn’t have a negative.

We laugh with others, cry with them compassionately and we enjoy their company, Love them and encourage them and we are a ray of sunshine and light in the darkness to them, and that brings us Joy too.
Every sixty seconds we spend worrying or angry is a minute wasted, but every sixty seconds we show Love and kindness is Joy that we will never lose.

As God’s Redeemed Children we don’t need to be afraid that our life will end. It started before we were born, and with Jesus there is no end…
So Let It Begin…
A Beautiful Picture of Light in the Darkness

Amen just Amen

I needed to read this today…and everyday. Jesus is our light. His love fills our hearts so we too will be a person of love, peace and joy. He is our healer and with the current events around us, we need him all the more to cleanse the darkness within and around us, to be healed, to be mended, to feel whole once more. God you bless my friend for the inspiration you give everyday.

You are always welcome, Grannie Annie. I so much agree with you that Jesus paid the price for everyone and made the only access to be faith in Him. He died for us, while we were yet sinners. We’ve got to love, just the way He loved us.
Like you rightly said, we shouldn’t only love those that love us. Jesus said that even the pharisees and hypocrites love those that love them and hate those that hate them. We’ve got to be different. We were born of love, for the purpose of love and so love must we! 🙂
Thanks for always sharing edifying words!

You are a joy to me teeceecounsel, I love your heart thoughts Son, shallow you are not, I just wish I could give you a Big ((( Hug))) instead I will come and visit you on your Blog, that is how I give Hugs now and yes correction too if needed but we seem to have the same focus which is not surprising really as we read the same Book and listen to the same Shepared, our Best Friend, who died for us kowing we were going to decay in sin and hurt Him, others and ourselves, till we came to our senses and repented from the heart accepting the free gift of Salvation found only in Him. Now we are Saved and being Saved and we show we are, with The Spirits empowering we are not just human as you shared before.
Take Care Son, we Love you in The Lord – Anne

So true Anne ,a Light in the Darkness, which is what a lighthouse at sea provides; a light in the darkness to keep you safe from harm.
So it is with Jesus ,He is our light in the darkness of our lives; to give us safety and assurance of not harming ourselves, as we some times would willingly shipwreck our lives..
What a haven for troubled times, what a refuge , what a certainty ,this same Jesus provides for all who would seek Him.
Blessings

Beautiful post, Grannie Annie!
I know a portion of the scripture that summarizes your concept:
“This is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down his life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers.” (1 John 3:16).
Christ loved us and redeemed us so that we can redeem others. All that we owe our fellow man is love. Whoever does not love is not of God…
You are definitely of God and I’m glad that blogging connected us.
Regards to Ron! 🙂

Thank you teeceecounsel, I enjoy your visits, you give as you receive, thank you also for (1 John 3:16) a wonderful Scripture and as we read on it shows what Love really is, which is not just words or speaking in tongues but by our actions too.
Jesus died not just for His friends but for all those who hated Him too, He gave everyone the chance to be redeemed and so we share His amazing Hope and show others the way to be redeemed through Him, we bring His Light or Truth to all Mankind. Will they always accept Him, sadly no, will they Love us in return, Jesus tells us many will hate us like they did Him and some of us will be Martyred too, we will have the smell of death to them but to those who will accept the free gift of Salvation and God knows those who are His, we will have a pleasant fragrance that brings Love, Joy and Hope as we promote Jesus Christ our Lord and Saviour.
Do we only share with those who Love us, No just like Jesus did, to those who hate us too and some of these will be wolves, pretending to be followers of Jesus, but we will know them.
Thank you again Son – Christian Love always – Grannie Annie.
