Keep Swimming Around
Two frogs fell into the deep cream bowl.
One was an optimistic soul.
The other took the dimmer view.
“We’ll drown”, he cried, without more ado,
And so with one last despairing cry,
He flung up his legs and said, “Goodbye!”
The other said with a merry grin,
“I can’t get out, but I won’t give in.
I’ll swim around ‘til my strength is spent,
And then I’ll die the more content”.
And so he swam ‘till it would seem,
His struggles began to churn the cream.
On top of the butter at last he stopped,
Then out of the bowl he happily hopped.
The moral of the story is easily found.
If you can’t hop out, keep swimming around.
Don’t Give Up
We are not alone….
Isaiah 43:1-3 – Do not be afraid, for I have ransomed you. I have called you by name; you are mine. When you go through deep waters and great trouble, I will be with you. When you go through rivers of difficulty, you will not drown! When you walk through the fire of oppression, you will not be burned up; the flames will not consume you. For I am the LORD, your God, the Holy One of Israel, your Saviour.”
Lamentations 3: 33 For He doth not afflict willingly nor grieve the children of men.
Very True Son, of course we don’t have liberty to sin as some claim, as you said we choose to walk as Jesus walked which was in Love and righteousness, He set us free so we could (see below.)
John 8:34-36 Jesus replied, “I tell you the truth, everyone who sins is a slave to sin. Now a slave has no permanent place in the family, but a son belongs to it forever. So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.
Now as promised …Teeth… they allow our food to be properly digested so they are needed Nutritionally which means we can be well fed or lacking whats needed depending on the condition of our teeth and this is also True Spiritually, this is why Jesus tells us to seek, ask and knock, when we ask, we believe we have received and when we do we are complete Spiritually, as long as we also have meat and not just all milk.

Thanks Son, I appreciated the message when it was sent to me a few years ago, I’m not a frog but sometimes I feel like hoping away especially when I have been hurt or there is pressure but instead I keep churning the cream, it’s almost butter now!
Ron’s away , I’m concerned though because when he phoned he said he was in pain and had to go to the Doctors, I hope to hear more tomorrow.

It is well, Grannie Annie.
How is Ron now?
All things work together for our good and to God’s glory.
Frogs have fun hopping, because that’s their design.
We can always learn from the stories made about any creature and make our lives more fulfilling.
Thanks much for staying in touch.
My regards to Ron; he is well.

Thanks Son for showing you care, it’s easy to say you do but actions speak louder than words. Ron said the pain was going down from his shoulder right down his back, I was worried it may have been his heart, he had a triple by-pass about 15 years ago, he will need to have it checked out properly when he gets back but the Doctor has given him strong pain killers, so the golf and snooker continues.
Yes we can learn from animals Son even though we are of a higher order being created in the likeness of God, one good thing about animals is they are not afraid to show their emotions , the same as young children , if they hurt you know it, if they are content the same.
But worldly Mankind says be Happy Clappy even if your hurting, put on a smile your not allowed to be sad, yes I love genuine smiles from a cheerful heart but plastic ones leave me cold, if someone is sad than Jesus tells them to come to Him, He likes honesty and our being real but it takes a humble heart to say I need your help and a Loving Heart to offer help!

So true about being real and sincere, we should not fake our feelings.
Sometimes, maturity may mean being able to appear or present in the most appropriate manner, which is more like conforming to the expectation of others.
But we know better.
We ought to be transformed by the renewal of our minds.
Children are innocent and as a result are always light hearted.
Lying and pretending often heaps burdens of guilt and malice.
We have a shoulder to rest on and able arms to hold; in Jesus.
Thanks for keeping me posted about Ron.
He will definitely be fine.
My regards to him.
Cheers!

Hi Son, Ron was still in a lot of pain last night, like with you and thank you for your words of assurance, I have asked friends and also some Blogging friends to pray for him but he may have to cut his Holiday short with his brother, I hope not they look forward to having this time together every year.
Yes very True what you shared Son, and we remember Jesus is real, He cried, He got angry , He rebuked firmly, He Loves greatly and shows it, yes He is indeed real.
Do you know Son, I was once told by a Nun that God doesn’t feel any emotion, we can’t hurt Him, I only wish I could have responded with what God has showed me since by His Truth confirmed in Scripture but I hadn’t been going to Church for very long at the time.
So let’s be real Son, are you eating properly and cleaning your teeth everyday and cleaning behind your ears? and don’t forget to put a shine on your shoes, Lol
God’s Blessing to you ALWAYS – Grannie Annie

Thanks much, Grannie Annie!
Jesus was real while on earth.
He put Himself in our shoes most of the time.
If God made man for his own pleasure, then He definitely has emotions.
Our purpose is to give Him glory and in all sincerity, it takes sincerity and His grace to do that.
Once again, Ron will be fine.
Thanks so much for stopping by!

Hi Son, I was going to Post and ask others to pray for Ron but I just talked with him and he sounds so much better, he said the pain was still there but not so intense, he will be coming back in the week-end and will go and see his own Doctor on Monday, he said to say Thanks and he agrees with you, I’m not to worry just continue to Trust.
Now dear Son, if we are going to walk in Jesus’ shoes we first need to make sure they fit, that they are shiny, no smudges or marks and especially no mud on the souls and we need to be sure the lases are tied, no loose ends. Next time we will share about teeth!
1 John 2:4-6 He that saith, I know Him, and keepeth not His Commandments, is a liar, and the Truth is not in him. But whoso keepeth His word, in him verily is the Love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in Him. He that saith he bideth in Him ought himself also so to walk, even as He walked.

Great to know that Ron is much better.
Everything will be alright soon.
Jesus says; If you love me, you will keep my command.
Yet, one can only give what he/she has, and can only manifest who he/she is.
As a result we have to put our trust in the lord and consistently heed to his word, because in so doing, we are transformed.
2 Corinthians: 3. 17. “Now the Lord is the Spirit and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. 18. But we all, with unveiled face beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are transformed into the same image from glory to glory, even as from the Lord, the Spirit.” – Bible Offline

“Do not be afraid, for I have ransomed you. I have called you by name; you are mine. As for the frog story, I would like to believe I am more of the optimistic one. As they say, “It aint over tills its over.” God bless you and Ron.

Our dear Island Traveler, Thank you for always being willing to share from your heart in honesty and Trust.
Jesus never gives up on us either, even when we are unfaithful but we do hurt Him because He Loves us so much but if we reject Him He has no choice but to let us go because He can offer us no more then His life which He gave willingly for us to be set free.
I was a lost sheep enticed into addiction and other sin but He rescued me and restored me and healed and blessed me greatly. I played the Christian game for 14 years but came to real heart repentace 16 years ago, it was then that I stared to seek God with all my heart and He found me, I have never looked back, I now realise now the emptness that I was living before but now I know the heart of God and know we are indeed very rich …Oh how He Loves you and me and all His heart children.

Yes Anne the old story of the frogs in the blender is a good one to help us realise the fact that we don’t wait till it`s desperate before we do something about our situation or when we find that it`s desperate then we struggle like mad but not in a good way. The only reason that`s the case is because we had given up ! So we dont give up when Higher hands are over us.!

Hi Dei, thank you for your encouragment, those Scriptures have given me great comfort, to know we are never alone in the hard times is wonderful and to know it is not by God’s hand or will that we suffer has opened my eyes and heart to know our God of Love in a closer and more personal way, when we Trust someone we can Love them deeply, without Trust there is no real Love.
See you soon – Love Anne
