By the way, Anne…I am delighted to have come across the comments bringing the topic of Jesus’ birth date into the light here on another of your post…I was intrigued by the possibility that it actually COULD have been on December 25th, enough to do a further, more in depth study of the Jewish calender, festivals, and dates. I was seeking only to get a “BallPark” figure of when Zacharais’ division of the priesthood might have actually been burning the incense, etc…and what I found… was more of a “Home Run”…
If indeed the original, true dates and observances were resumed upon the regathering of the Jewish people after the destruction of the 2nd Temple…You may be absolutely right…Jesus Was Born on December 25th…

I am thankful for your post, and comments. I was in need of incentive to resume digging into the historical archives, and Spirit Revealing Scriptures.
I have been in some what of a “dry place in the valley” so to speak for a while now, and your comment/response was just what I needed to get me back on track with writing…Or, at least inspire me to get back into more in-depth studies…
And the possibility, ( probability ) that December 25th really is the correct date of Jesus’ birth…
Well, that little nugget of spiritual richness speaks for itself…

Hi Paul, as Ron said you are indeed a humble man, the Apostle Paul was one too, he was viewed as a man of inflence and power and had a very important position but thought he was pleasing God by killing the Christians, when shown his sin, he came to real heart repentance and it was then that he became a great man of real honour in God’s eyes and worthy of full respect from others.
God tells us to clean up our lives and He will use us for His great works. To be honest Paul, In the past I sinned more then most people I know and I’m still not perfected in God’s Love even though I’m aiming for it, so now when I’m tempted I call out to Jesus for help, He tells us that through Him no temptation will be greater then we can bear…How good is that!
As promised Paul we will be Posting the next part of the confirmation of Jesus’ birth date soon, Ron has now checked it. We are told in Luke that Zacharias kept all the Commandments and Ordinances of God and this would have also been in regard to his position as High Priest, yes he was one, many overlook this very important Truth, which means regardless of who King Herod chose to be in this position, God chose and anointed Zacharis to minister and make sacrifices for His people.
What we would really appreciate Paul is if you did a Post about the Temples, they are very interesting but lots of reading, you seem to put things in order and delete what is not needed and so your messages have an impact and don’t bog you down but of course it’s your choice, we value whatever you share even if not always in agreement but then what is important is that we value everyone as people of worth and we do indeed you.

Thanks Island Traveller, for taking the time, its true you need to celebrate life, I’d like to think I have more celebrations to come but then they never really end in the Lord, the Joy just increases and the view ( eyes) just becomes clearer.
