Does God Love Us ?

Does God Love us, yes He does and passionately but why ? because He is our Daddy but unlike some earthly fathers, He never does anything that is evil to us or does He willingly hurt us, He tells us…

Jeremiah 29 :11-12 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the LORD, thoughts of Peace and not of evil, to give you a Future and a Hope.

Lamentations 3:33 For He doth not afflict willingly nor grieve the Children of men.

I would like to share with you just what God’s Love is like ….

His Love is Patient and Kind, and He does not envy and does not boast, He is not wrongly proud. He does not dishonor others, or is He self-seeking, He is not easily angered and He keeps No record of wrongs. His Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the Truth and He always Protects, always Trusts, always Hopes, always Perseveres. His Love never ever fails. ( 1Corinthians 13 )

John 3:16 For God so Loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not His Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through Him might be saved.

Jesus Christ is The Living Word, God’s Son and is part of The Godhead or Trinity as They are called today….

1 John 5:7 For there are Three that bear record in Heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these Three are One.

When Jesus indwells us, we walk in Love and the Fruit of The Spirit is shown in our words and actions and these are shown by our Love for God and others and Love does no evil.

Galatians 5:22 – 25 But the fruit of the Spirit is Love, Joy, Peace, Long-suffering, Gentleness, Goodness, Faith, Meekness, Temperance: against such there is no law. And they that are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts. If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.

God’s Love is very beautiful, it is Awesome, He endured great heartache for us, His Love is expressed in Passion and Emotion, in Commitment, is Sacrificial,  always Trusts, has Peace, Hope, Respect, Loyalty, Honesty, Goodness, Faith, Long-suffering, Meekness, Temperance, Gentleness and Righteousness.

Will anything Separate us from God’s Love in Christ Jesus, No He knows who are His and He tells us we will show that we are, God knew we would come to heart repentance even before we were conceived and so He chose us to be conformed into the image of His Son Jesus Christ.

Romans 8 (1) There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. (K.J.V )

God is Love and all He Created was good and all good things come from Him, we were created in His image and we were created to Love 100% like Him and when God’s Love is perfected in us we will be fully restored and complete, the Scriptures tell us we will walk like Jesus did in this world.

1John 4:16-17 And we have known and believed the Love that God hath to us. God is Love; and he that dwelleth in Love dwelleth in God, and God in him. Herein is our Love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as He is, so are we in this world.

Genesis 1: 27 So God created man in His own image, in the image of God created He him; male and female created He them.

Genesis 1: 31 And God saw every thing that He had made, and, behold, it was very good.

 The most wonderful Truth is that God Loved us first and He promised He would forever regardless of the cost to Him and what is so amazing is that we can have His Love for Him and others just by being one with Him in His Heart.

What about those who do not Love who walk in sin? …. we will share about them later but what is very important is for us to know is we are greatly Loved as  God’s Children and His Loving thoughts about us outnumber the grains of sands ….

Psalm 139:17-18  How precious also are thy thoughts unto me, O God! how great is the sum of them! If I should count them, they are more in number than the sand: when I awake, I am still with thee.

GOD IS AWESOME…
