God’s 6 Days of Creation

Today we are going now to have a close look at the 6 literal days of Creation as a whole and some days more closely but before we do, I just want to confirm something I’m sure most of you know and accept and that is the Old Testament confirms the New Testament and vice versa, so for example when we look at The Trinity or as They were called in the New Testament,  The Godhead, we have no doubt the Trinity is a reality, They are confirmed in The Old and New Testament  as we can see below.

 

Genesis 1: 1 The Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters and God said, Let there be light: and there was light.

Genesis 1: 26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness:  let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. So God created man in His own image, in the image of God created He him; male and female created He them.

Isaiah 9:6   For unto us a Child is born, unto us a Son is given: and the Government shall be upon His shoulder: and His name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.

John 1: 1- 5 In the beginning was The Word, and The Word was with God, and The Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by Him; and without Him was not any thing made that was made. In Him was life; and the life was the Light of men. And the Light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.

1 John 5:7 For there are Three that bear record in Heaven, The Father, The Word, and The Holy Ghost: and these Three are One.

Christian Answers Network http://www.christiananswers.net/q-aig/aig-c003.html advises in reference to the  gap theory that it is impossible to blend it together with Creation. You may have heard of this  theory where people have tried to place a gap of indeterminate time between the first two verses of  Genesis 1 There are many different versions as to what happened in this “gap” of time. Most versions of the “gap” theory place millions of years of geologic time (including billions of fossil animals) in between these two first verses of Genesis. This is the “ruin-reconstruction” version of the gap theory.

This belief and those like it, cause doubts and they weaken the Gospel, as it allows for fatal death, bloodshed,  pain that was not needed in the process of Creation, disease and intense suffering before Adam’s fall into sin. 

 .

 God tells us in Scripture that He Created the earth, the Heavens and everything in them in 6 literal days then He rested but Christians who believe in Evolution claim it took billions of years to form so who are we going to believe God or man.

God then tells us in Genesis 1: 5  And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day …. Christian Evolutionists  say each day could have been a Million +  years … So who do we believe God or man.

But how can we be sure a day was not a Million +  years  … we can know by the sequence of Creation… we will look at a few days as an example…

God tells us  there was no rain till Noah’s Ark and we are told in  Genesis  2:10 

And a river went out of Eden to water the garden; and from thence it was parted, and became into four heads. We know Trees and plants need water but they also need the Sun without  the Sun  for a Million+  years nothing would exist,  so then on what day did God Create the Trees, grass and fruit…

.

Genesis 1:11-13  And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth: and it was so. And the earth brought forth grass, and herb yielding seed after his kind, and the tree yielding fruit, whose seed was in itself, after his kind: and God saw that it was good.  And the evening and the morning were the THIRD DAY..

So on what day did God create the Sun, Moon and Stars…

Genesis  1:14 -19  And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years: And let them be for lights in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth: and it was so. And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also. And God set them in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth, And to rule over the day and over the night, and to divide the light from the darkness: and God saw that it was good. And the evening and the morning were the FORTH DAY.

Without the Sun for a Millions+  years  nothing would have existed the same as if there were no Animals for those  plants that needed Seed dispersal and Animals were not created till the 6 day.

Even NASA  confirmed  that without the Sun life on Earth would not exist.

When God said a day is like a Thousand years He was referring to the Truth that there is no time in Heaven as we know it, He established it on earth for the knowledge of the fulfillment of Prophesy which we see being fulfilled even now with us being in the end times, yes time is short! 

.

Perhaps Christian Evolutionists may try to explain  away the 6 literal days of Creation but we would rather Trust in God for all the answers not Man’s worldly understanding.
