Is It Horse or a Frog?

Well it’s both a Horse and a Frog depending on what our focus is on and often this will happen in our lives as well… What we think is the Truth or we are told is the Truth can be error or a lie and can keep changing and when  sometime later we find out that it is not the Truth we will experience confusion and disappointment and sometimes we lose our trust or have doubts especially if it seemed to be Truth and what we ourselves believed or thought it was true.

This may be because  it was meeting needs that we had at the time, or we respected those who told us, but we need to remember anyone trusting in worldly wisdom can be in error because no one on this earth without God’s wisdom has all the Truth and knowledge  that there is to know so they too can be deceived by error or a lie. 

Yes the Holy Spirit can reveal to us the Truth  we seek for God’s understanding and not rely on our own or what we have been taught, and the Truth  will always meet our needs and take away confusion and of course our Trust will be restored. 

Now if the knowledge  that has been revealed goes against our beliefs or what we have been told in the past and yet is confirmed to be the Truth, then we can  be thankful that we are no longer being deceived and we can seek to understand the reality of what we have been told and lean and grow  through it…

Truth always overcomes a lie or error and even if they  have been concealed for some time they  will be uncovered  and defeated or exposed. So how do we know we are not being told a lie again or being taught error after all the first time they seemed so believable…

Well it all depends where our focus is, if it’s  on what others have told us or are telling us and we feel there is no way we could be in error because after all it’s  what we were taught and now believe and we continue to hold onto this teaching regardless of God’s Truth clearly showing us we are in error than no matter what is revealed we will continue being deceived unless we ask for God’s wisdom to understand His Truth and discern it from deception and error.

If our focus is on finding the Truth which means we are Teachable  and we do not depend on our own or someone else understanding but God’s, then the Truth will overcome any doubts and fears we have. Yes a belief can be the Truth and when this is so it will be proven as such.

God’s Truth is Powerful and it has no equal, it comes from His heart of  Love.

 1 Corinthians 2 ( 9-16 )

 But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that Love him. 

But God hath revealed them unto us by His Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God. For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God.

Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God. Which things also we speak, not in the words which man’s wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost Teacheth; comparing spiritual things with Spiritual.

But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are Spiritually discerned. 

But he that is Spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man. For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct Him? but we have the mind of Christ.
