A Child’s View of Thunderstorms…
A little girl walked to and from school every day.
Though the weather one morning was questionable and clouds were forming, she made her daily trek to the Primary School.
As the afternoon progressed, the winds whipped up, along with lightning and rain.
The Mother of the little girl felt concerned that her daughter would be frightened as she walked home from school and she feared the electrical storm might harm her Child and the rain was starting to become heavier.
Full of concern, the Mother quickly got into her car and drove
Along the route to her Child’s School..
As she did, she saw her little girl walking along…
At each flash of lightning, the child would stop, look up, and smile.
Another and another flash of lighting followed quickly and with each, the little girl would look at the streak of light and smile.
When the Mother’s car drew up beside the Child, she lowered the window and called to her…
‘What are you doing?’
The Child answered,
“I am trying to look pretty because God keeps taking my picture.”
Let’s seek to have a good day today and everyday and as we face the Storms that come our way let’s Trust in the Lord to light our way.

Hi Dei, I liked this one too, it reminded me that unlike you I’m camera shy, I can’t take photos and don’t like my picture being taken, except by God, His are always perfect.
The photo I use on the Blog is 5 years old and the only one of Ron and I together, except of course for our wedding pics, my Sister Anne was in one too, they were taken when they were visiting us from New Zealand, I’m sure I look much older now but Ron hasn’t changed much. I had a lot of trouble with the Gravator trying to make it fit, I must have about 20 copies, oh well we can’t be good at everything and technology is not one of my strengths and Ron’s for sure, that’s why we need people like you.

Hi island traveler, so very True what you said, you are confirming what the Scriptuers tell us (see below ) we must become like a Child, dependant and Trusting God, just like your son does with you and your wife.
Matthew 18: 3 And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the Kingdom of Heaven.
