The Story Of Pearls
“Do you know how Pearls are made ?”
Pearls are a product of pain. When a grain of Sand pierces the shell of an Oyster, all the otherwise dormant resources within the tiny Oyster respond to the foreign irritant by caring for that sensitive spot.
Over time, the Sand particle is covered by healing fluids and the wound becomes a pearl .
That’s true of us also, when Hardships invade our lives, or we are Tempted it is not God who causes or allows them, we are not Oysters that have to suffer to make a peal, He tempts and Afflicts no man but He knows we will experience them and as we turn to Him He strengthens us and our Faith is shown to be real, as the Holy Spirit shapes our responses so we don’t give up but instead we continue to persevere …
Not giving into bitterness or rushing ahead of the Lord’s good plans but instead we rest in Him…
The Oyster is cleansed of all the leftover particles that caused the irritation by the fresh flowing water and so too does God cleanses us by The Living Water, Jesus Christ.
The good that God has started He will finish.
Allowing God to turn that irritation into an opportunity for our growth we can consider it all with deep inner Joy as we watch a beautiful Pearl of great worth emerge from our circumstances.
1 Peter 1:6-7 Wherein ye greatly rejoice, though now for a season, if need be, ye are in heaviness through manifold temptations: That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ:
James 1:12-14 Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love Him. Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed.
Lamentations 3: 33 For He doth not afflict willingly nor grieve the children of men.
Hebrews 4:15-16 For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.
1 Peter 5:10 But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto His eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you.
Daniel 12:10 Many shall be purified, and made white, and tried; but the wicked shall do wickedly: and none of the wicked shall understand; but the wise shall understand.

Anne I think pearls are so beautiful so round and perfect. Its Gods signature of something beautiful even that which was forged by attrition and hardship .Just what God does with our lives. He makes something beautiful of my life even though I have suffered because of the evil in the world.

Yes me too Ron and I also suffered because of the evil in me and caused others to suffer too, this is why God tells us to put our evil flesh nature to death.

Anne, this is surreal! Being remolded for the kingdom of God! I love the words of the song along with the music it allows us to follow along. Such a beautiful song with a prayer intertwined. It allows you to just soak in His presence. Pain released through tears of knowing God is at hand to make us whole. Amen.

Hi Shenine, yes He does indeed mould us with the Fruit of The Spirit as we choose to walk in them with His empowering, as the song said …You gentlly call me into your presence, guide in me by your Holy Spirit Teach me dear Lord to live through your eyes … Its not by suffering and hardship as many claim but at these times our faith is shown to be geniune because we turn to Him and not become bitter and walk away.
Thanks for Visiting and sharing, Christian Love Anne.

Hi T, thank you for visiting, I enjoy your sharing and yes although God does not plan for us to suffer and have hardship He knows we will and through it He strenghens us so we endure and He is always by our side He never leaves us and then He works it all out for good like He did for Job, although Job didn’t know God like we do, He didn’t have the Holy Spirit endwelling Him but He was working in His life the same as He does with us before we are perfected in Love……How good is that!

Yes, Anne, God continues the work in us, shaping and molding us into Christlikeness. He only wants the very, very best for us and we KNOW that no matter what the world and its forces lay at our feet, HE will give us victory. We are more than conquerors through Christ.
What an amazing God!

Hi Angela, so very True, even though God uses the fruit of the Spirit to mould and shape us and for putting the flesh to death as we walk in them by His empowering but all things work for good, not that God uses suffering and hardship or plans it so He can mould and shape us but during those times as the Scripture tells us we show our faith in Him by Trusting and believing that He will rescue us, sadly some turn away but this shows they never had Salvation in the first place as the Scriptures confirm, perhaps though they will search for Him and return like the Prodigal son did.
It amazes me Angela that so many Trust in man’s understanding and what others have taught them and ignore or reject God’s Truth in the Scriptures, like the ones on this post, they would prefer to believe God does evil to bring good out of it even though the Scriptures tell us this is slander to even claim it about other Christians., but they can repent and ask for God’s wisdom so they will know the Truth and He will set them free.
