The Rabbit

 The Rabbit

A man is driving along a highway and sees a rabbit jump out across the middle of the road. He swerves to avoid hitting it, but unfortunately the rabbit jumps right in front of the car.

The driver, a sensitive man as well as an animal lover,

pulls over and gets out to see what has
become of the rabbit.

Much to his dismay, the rabbit is dead.

The  driver feels so awful that he begins to cry.

A beautiful woman driving down the highway sees a man

crying on the side of the road and pulls over.

She  steps out of her car and asks the man what’s wrong.

“I feel terrible,” ! he explains, “I accidentally hit this rabbit
and killed it.”

The woman says, “Don’t worry.”

She runs to her car and pulls out a spray can.

She walks over to the limp, dead  rabbit, bends down,

and sprays the contents onto the rabbit.

The rabbit jumps up, waves its paw at the two of them
and hops off down the road.

Ten feet away the rabbit stops, turns around and waves again, he hops down the road another 10 feet, turns and waves, hops another ten feet, turns and waves,
and repeats this again and again and again,
until he hops out of sight.

The  man is astonished.
He runs over to the woman and demands,
“What is in that can?
What did you spray on that rabbit?”

The woman turns the can around
so that the man can read the label.

It says..

(Are you ready for this?)

(Are you sure?)

(This is bad!)

(You know you could just click off
and not read the punch line….)

(You can still avoid it)

(Last chance)

(OK, here it is)

It says…

“Hair Spray
Restores life to dead hair,
and adds permanent wave.”

Hi Viv, yes both Ron and I love a good joke and as you know he has a quick wit too, I received this one a few years ago and thought it was very clever, sometimes humour can be used to teach or explain Scripture, but not all humour is good as you know .

Thanks for your kind words Viv, you are a dear friend, always willing to uplift and encourage but not willing to water down God’s Truth, which is one of the things I respect and appreciate about both you and Steve.

Take Care in Jesus- Christian Love Anne.

  3. I haven’t heard that one. Very good. I wish I had a mind like Ron’s so I could make a punny reply, but I’ll just say thanks for a laugh. I’ve been involved in a few ‘deep’ conversations, so I was ready for a break.

Yes Angela, thankfully Ron has indeed got a quick wit, we have had many, many laughs over the years. In his sermons humour was often used to lighten the load of his message and I seemed to be the focus but it was always in fun and our Church family loved it, I use to play along and pretend I was mad but I don’t think I fooled anyone.

Mostly Ron is very direct like I am when sharing God’s Truth but like me always uses Scripture to confirm it, as we all need to, of course not always appreciated by some when they have believed differently for many years but I can identify with them having been taught error myself as many were and are even today.

It’s OK Love I’m used to you doing that, I must cut back on the carrots, anyway big day ahead, I must hop to it, I have a lot to do and it could be a bit hairy in the traffic on my Scooter, they of course accuse me of being a tortoise but they are indeed a bit hairbrained at times.

I take it that means it was the best joke you have heard for a long time Angie .

Annie sure knows how to make an impact, when you stop laughing Angie we wil continue on a more serious line of thought from my left brain, it’s so good that we have two.
