Touching words from the mouths of babes. What does ‘Love’ mean to them?

A Very Caring Child…
And the final one — An Author and Lecturer once shared about a true story he had heard concerning a very young boy with a caring heart.
The Child was a four year old boy and the next door neighbour was an elderly gentleman who had recently lost his wife.
Upon seeing the man cry, the young boy went into the old gentleman’s yard, climbed onto his lap, and just sat there.
When his Mother asked what he had said to the neighbour, the child said,’Nothing, I just helped him cry.’
Childhood is a very special time in our lives a time of discovery and Joy and yet their needs to be a time to let go of Childish ways, thoughts, humor and ideas and a time of embracing or accepting who we are as Adults, focusing and seeking for the true values and those things that define us as people of worth with an Inheritance and a purpose. No longer confused but able to participate in the Devine calling with passion and Joy offering God’s Hope in Love.
Yes we are to be Childlike, often Children have perceptions that sometimes Adults can lack, but we are not to be Childish, we are to be like Children in our Innocence and Dependence on the Lord, seeking Him with Trust and Thankfulness, not trying to be in control but allowing Him to Guide and Teach us and being Honest and Open with Him and others.
How wonderful when we listen to the Lord and believe that no matter what happens He will cause all things to work together for Good because we Love Him and this is shown by our obedience to His will and because of this He has Chosen us to bear much fruit so we will mature spiritually and be perfected in Love.
1 Corinthians 13:11When we were Children we talked in a Childish way, we had Childish thoughts and we reasoned like a Child but when we matured we no longer held onto Childish ways, we put them behind us.

Many definitions of love, and truth in them all, but I know you will agree with me that the ultimate description of love was demonstrated when the perfect, sinless Jesus became sin for us, bearing the wrath of God poured out on Him because of our sin. What incomprehensible love! He TOOK our sin and GAVE us His own righteousness.
What an amazing loving Saviour!
What an amazing loving Father God!

So True Angela and because He did, the Scriptures tell us we also walk in righetousness and we will do what is good if we don’t and do sin we have not been Born again of God’s seed but not saying we won’t be though, we see these Truths very clearly in the Sciptuers as you can see below and there are many others.
I John 3: 1-11 ( 7 ) Dear children, do not let anyone lead you astray. He who does what is right is righteous, just as He is righteous
1 John 3: 1-11 ( 9) No one who is born of God will continue to sin, because God’s seed remains in him; he cannot go on sinning, because he has been born of God.
