“Not a one — not a one.”
Little Chad was a shy, quiet young fellow. One day he came home and told his Mother he’d like to make a Valentines Day Card for everyone in his class. Her heart sank…
She thought, I wish he wouldn’t do that! Because she had watched the other Children when they walked home from school. Her Chad was always behind them.
That afternoon she had the cookies and milk on the table. When she heard the children outside she looked out the window.
Sure enough here they came, laughing and having the best time. And, as always, there was Chad in the rear. He walked a little faster than usual.
She fully expected him to burst into tears as soon as he got inside. She noticed His arms were empty, and when the door opened she choked back the tears.
“Mummy has some warm cookies and milk for you.”
But he hardly heard her words. He just marched right on by, his face aglow, and all he could say was…
“Not a one — not a one.”
“And then he added, “I didn’t forget a one, not a single one!”

“LOVE “
Giving from the Heart is the Essence of Love Receiving in Thankfulness is it’s Aroma.
So Lets enter God’s gates with Thanksgiving and His courts with Praise, by giving thanks to Him and praising His name. For the Lord is good and His Love is never ending, it endures forever, God’s faithfulness continues through all generations. Psalms 100: 4-5
Music – The Power of your Love
Lord, lay upon our hearts someone we need to show love and kindness, with no thought of getting anything in return. Let Your love and concern flow through us to others.

Thank you for that beautiful prayer meetingintheclouds and yes I say Amen too, it is such a blessing to give but it is also a blessing to receive. God tells us to be thankful always but if we are just just giving to receive back then He warns us we already have our reward but if we give as you prayed Angela unconditionally, then the thanks we receive we can accept also with thankfulness the same as Paul did when the Churches supported him and gave him gifts.

So True Ron, unconditional Love doesn’t come with a price tag or interest needing to be calculated.

Jesus love me, this I know
For the Bible tells me so;
Little ones to Him belong,
They are weak but He is strong!
Yes, Jesus loves me! Amen
Nice story, Anne. 🙂

Yes I was the same Karin, I thought it was going to be about forgivness but it was about unconditional Love shown in Kindness.
Yes Children sometimes come up with some wonderful Truths but sometimes not so we do need to guide them for sure and set the right example.
Thanks for sharing Christian Love Annie.
