Good story, yet there is one mistake, Bishop Nicholas of Myra was indeed ordained a bishop and attended the Nicene Council, was stripped of his Bishopric after slapping Arius for heresy, while chained in a cell he was given his stole (a garment signifying the rank of bishop) and a book of the Gospels and his chains were removed by Jesus and Mary. Constantine thus restored Bishop Nicholas his bishopric upon the reports of the guards of his cell.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts jrj1701 which seem to be based on hearsay and so are unfounded. I’m sorry but there is a lot of hearsay and unproven rumour built around the life of those that were and still are in public focus.
What is needed is to seek those who have no reason to put mud on someones Character by sharing unproven details, old wives tales and hearsay. What I suggest you do jrj1701 is to read Bishop Nicholas of Myra True Biography of his life but not on the Internet which has a lot of myth and legends that are passed on from one website to the next and even those who claim knowledge contradict themselves, what is shared is than passed on without proven facts, this is the same with the unproven Theory of Evolution.

Amen! Jesus came to earth to give US gifts. Gifts of life, healing and the forgiveness of sins. We should give to everyone we meet, not just a Christmas when it becomes an obligation, but everyday when we see a need. Merry CHRISTmas!
Love you,
