In My Arms

I will lead you gently by the hand my little Child that does not understand the deeds that were done in the dark that stole your innocence and left their mark.

The cruel and hateful ways of man to hide their pain and cover their shame finding release in an evil masquerade.

They let you pay the price in your soul leaving you no longer whole and loosing the Joy that Childhood holds.

Did I not care in the darkened night how I grieved at your fright,

I wanted to protect you and hold you near I felt your pain and shed your tears.

Your anger drew you away crushing my Joy within and leading you into sin,

This anger that was born by fright in the darkness of the night, can only be healed when brought into the light illuminating the darkness and making it bright,

Bringing my peace as I hold you tight, wiping away your tears and healing the pain within giving my Joy that can’t be restrained.

No longer to have heartache and strife I set you free and give you My life.

Never will your sins go on show what you did to cover the pain I bled and died so you would bear no shame.

You are my Child called by My name no longer to fear or loose your way and in My arms you will always stay,

My Spirit now dwells within and you will no longer sin.

So come my Child and take My hand as I lead you to the Promised land.

 Music – Arms Of Love

I sing a simple song of Love

To my Saviour, to my Jesus

I’m thankful for the things You’ve done

My Loving Saviour, my precious Jesus

My heart is glad that You call me in

Because there’s no place I’d rather be

Than in Your arms of Love

In Your arms of Love

Holding me still

Holding me near

In Your arms of Love

    • Thank you secretangel for taking the time to share your thoughts on this Poem, it brought me great comfort, it is from the Holy Spirit, it’s Jesus’ words to me as an abused child and fearful adult.

I know you will find this hard to believe secretangel but I was told He wanted me to be abused , raped and bashed so He could bring good out of it, this is slander, God does not do evil to bring good out of it and to deliberately cause us to suffer is evil, His plans for us are good.

Jeremiah 29 :11-12 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the LORD, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.

Lamentations 3: 33 For God doth not afflict willingly nor grieve the children of men.

Isaiah 43:1-3 – Do not be afraid, for I have ransomed you. I have called you by name; you are mine. When you go through deep waters and great trouble, I will be with you. When you go through rivers of difficulty, you will not drown! When you walk through the fire of oppression, you will not be burned up; the flames will not consume you. For I am the LORD, your God, the Holy One of Israel, your Saviour.”

Thanks again Christian Love – Anne.

Amen!! Anne, I am so sorry that this happened to you and then that others had the audacity to tell you that it was God’s will. God does not want us harmed. His plans are for good… not harm. He will be there in the midst of the storm but He did not cause the storm. It is the evils of this world that open the door for the destructive acts of the enemy. God is calling all of us to higher levels of faith in Him… for with Him, we can overcome all that this world throws at us.

        • There are False Teachers secretangel but many are deceived or confused like I was until I asked for and received God’s Wisdom and empowering by The Holy Spirit and than I understood His Truth in Scripture and in Creation.

One of the worst things I was told by a Minister was that my 7 babies, 3 whom had died at Birth and the others at almost 5mths gestation, had all gone to Hell because I was not a Christian when they were conceived, I knew the Scriptures that confirm the opposite but what if I hadn’t, I would have been devastated, yes teaching like this is abuse.

I’m Proud of you Sis and your faithfulness to keep sharing God’s Truth, many are in darkness and need to know that He is Love and does not do evil or afflict us so that we will suffer, this is Cult teaching, if you would like to hear what God says Himself about His Love for us, the link below has a letter from Him on the Power Point at the end of the message, it is so comforting and reassuring.

This is so sad that it still happens today that many are led astray by deception, whether in homes, churches, and public offices. God is Love. He wants to bless us, not harm us. It is not God that keeps us from our blessings. You have been through so much, Anne. I pray that God will pour His blessings down upon you and Ron.

            • I can share today secretangel about my past life without pain, Jesus healed me after I forgave those who hurt me in my heart. I really believe that people hurt others because they are hurting but forgiving does not mean we have to accept the evil they do to us, or not rebuke them but we do not seek revenge because it only hurts us, they will reap what they sow unless they repent, which we Pray they do.

No God won’t change their heart by force, He does not want Puppets but I pray that they will see the reality of His Love for them and so feel the need to ask Him to change their heart, which is what happened to me and yes as we know King David too.

Amen!! I agree. Hurting people hurt people. We have to forgive but we don’t have to forget either. It is not easy and takes much healing before we can truly pray for those who have hurt us. I praise God for healing us. Also, love the song!!! God bless you, my sister!!

                • As we know Secretangel, we can’t experience God’s forgiveness unless we forgive because our hate and resentment blocks it and we can’t forgive in the Carnal flesh, it must be put to death by choosing to walk in the Fruit of the Spirit and than He empowers us to walk as Jesus did on earth.

Forgiveness is only possible through Jesus we can’t make ourselves forgive but when we choose to forgive The Holy Spirit empowers us to forgive. One thing that came very clear to me when I chose to forgive those who had hurt me was that they were also hurting, so instead of hate I had Compassion for them and than I asked Jesus to give me His Love for them.

But as you shared Secretangel I do not excuse what they have done even though I understand why they hurt me, evil must never be agreed with and unless they repent they will reap what they sow Eternally but I grieve that they will and so I pray their eyes will be opened so they can than choose God’s Love but He will never force them to follow Him, He knows those who are His and not one of us WILL BE LOST but we don’t know their hearts so we can’t judge their Eternal Destiny.

Thank you for sharing you are a Jewel – Blessings Anne.

Amen!! We all have to repent for none of us are perfect. I pray also that those who hurt others, in whatever form, that they be delivered and healed with total transformation so they will no longer hurt the innocent. We can’t judge them but we both know from divine revelation that they wound because they have been wounded themselves. Abusers abuse because they have been abused. It does not excuse them, but it shows us how God’s grace and mercy for even abusers is abundant. The function out of the wounds of their past… hence, the name of my book, The Walking Wounded.

      • Yes very True Secretangel we will never be perfect by earthly standards which keep changing anyway but we are to aim to be perfected in Love as God tells us to do and we see this confirmed much more than once in Scripture, yes we are to work out our Salvation but not meaning work for it, it’s by grace and so is a free gift.

Thank you Anne, for your comment on my post, and the link here. So much damage–it really skews the way we view God, because we think our Heavenly Father must be like our earthly parents. It took me a lifetime to see that wasn’t true at all! He is so GOOD, so Faithful–it is wonderful to be free and happy, and know that He covers all! Sending you love from this sister–I’m so so so glad we met!! Have a wonderful day in HIM!

  10. Thanks, Annie for posting this. It really makes one’s life seem insignificant when compared to the suffering of others. No matter what we suffer at the hands of others, even when it is from those closest to us, there are others that have been hurt far more. I struggle with the forgiveness, especially when it is ongoing and continuous; but your words and Gramma Velta’s words have truly helped. Thank you both for that.

Dear Gramma Velta, thank you for your faithfulness in responding to my posts, yes as you say many people have been hurt in their lives and it is the same for most of those who hurt us, they too are hurting…as they say hurt people hurt people and hurt themselves, this has been very True in my Life.

But the Peace I walk in now comes from the Lord not from my efforts to justify myself with others, I have done this and it doesn’t work, they can’t see their faults unless they are open to the Spirit but if not they will deny, excuse or justify them by putting more blame onto us and sadly will often seek revenge, so if needed I say sorry and move on in Love or if they have sinned against God and me I ask them to be accountable. But if they choose not to resolve the problem or ask for forgivness or forgive me, this is very sad because as your “word for today” said they will hurt more, bitterness and resentment eats you away like a Cancer.

But this is not my purpose in seeking reconciliation with them, I don’t want revenge, I feel compassion for them, and in no way do I wish them harm, more then anything else I want them to heal and be whole and to have God’s Peace in their lives. Yes I do feel at the time the pain of their attack and have also responded in anger, I’m not perfected in Love yet even if I’m aiming for it like Paul did but like him I will arrive because it is not through my striving but through Jesus’ empowering and leading. And because of these when I do respond angrily I don’t hang onto it and give Satan a foothold, I do as the Scriptures tell us to do I take my anger to The Lord, He then gives me His Peace and the Grace to forgive and to apologise for my wrong behaviour if needed… this is how He fights the Battles for us by empowering us to do what is right in His eyes.

Luke 10:5-7 And into whatsoever house ye enter, first say, Peace be to this house. And if the Son of Peace be there, your Peace shall rest upon it: if not, it shall turn to you again.

As you can see from this Scripture and others like it, Gramma Velta we are to offer Jesus’ Peace to everybody but if they do not have Jesus Christ in their hearts they can’t have His Peace, because only as we walk in Jesus can we have real Peace and because we have acted righteously then we will continue to have it in abundance and as we seek to do good to those who have hurt us or continue to hurt us, regardless of the cost, because is there any cost greater than the price Jesus paid for our sinfulness.

    Love you Gramma Velta.

Such a touching poem, Dear Anne,
It is amazing how the Body of Christ is so attuned to one another. I received this in my email this morning. It touches on what your wrote. In spite of what we have endured, we can have God’s peace: Love you so much. Gramma Velta

    TODAY’S SCRIPTURE
“The Lord will fight for you, and you shall hold your peace and remain at rest”
    (Exodus 14:14, AMP)

TODAY’S WORD …In life, we’re always going to have critics. We’ll always have difficult people who try to upset us and steal our peace and joy. But, you don’t have to respond to every critic. You can decide to take the high road and let God fight your battles for you.
Sometimes, no matter what you say or do, there are people who aren’t going to accept you. They just don’t want to be at peace with you. In fact, when Jesus sent out His disciples to certain homes, He told them to always speak peace over those homes. And then He said, in effect, “If they don’t receive the peace that you’re offering, then it will come back to you.” That tells me, if you will do your best to be at peace with people, even if they won’t take your peace, the good news is that peace will just come back to you. You’ll not only get your peace, but you’ll get their share as well! That’s double for your trouble! When you do the right thing no matter what is happening, God sees it and rewards it. So choose peace today and walk in the blessing He has for you!

    A PRAYER FOR TODAY
Father in heaven, I choose to hold my peace. I choose to do the right thing even when the wrong thing is happening. I trust that You are fighting my battles for me. I give You all the honor and praise and choose to walk in peace today in Jesus’ name. Amen.
