Because I’m a Christian… I’m proud to be called by that name because it means I have Jesus Christ within and I take pride of my position and unity in Him.
Because I’m a Christian… I’m no longer trying to be strong because it’s the Lord’s strength that will carry me along and when at times I see weaknesses God’s understanding and refining I do seek then I never need to be in dismay because God’s Love rules all I do and say.
Because I’m a Christian… I’m Lifting God on High not bragging of my success or the good things that I do knowing that alone I will fail, but because of God’s Love He will see me through and will bring Glory through the things He has prepared in advance for me to do.
Because I’m a Christian … I’m seeking to be perfect because although my flaws are visible one day they will be no more…Jesus knocked and I opened up the door. Did God believe I was worth it when He died upon the tree yes even knowing I was deep in sin He still came to set me free.
Because I’m a Christian… I still feel the sting of pain but I no longer carry any shame and in my heart there is Joy although things may stay the same but I have the Lord’s Peace because I call upon His name.
Because I’m a Christian… I know I don’t walk alone and the strength to live the Christian Life is given not owned as at the cross I sit at Christ’s feet .
Because I’m a Christian… I seek to be Holy just as the Lord asks us to be by following Jesus who died to set us free. In every thing God’s does and says His Love is the Light that guides me on my way.
Because I’m a Christian… Although in my flesh a sinner I would be but I no longer seek this way because through the Spirit it’s no longer part of me, Christ nailed it to the tree and now I have God’s power to Trust and Obey and I never have to wonder how all this can be because God’s Love in Grace pardoned me.
Because I’m a Christian I know a testing time will be part of my preparation for Eternity but through the trial The Lord will keep me strong because to Him I belong, Satan will never have the upper hand because in Christ Jesus I stand.
Because I’m a Christian… I’m saying I have counted the cost and have chosen to follow Jesus regardless of the sacrifice or loss. I know that the Lord leads the way bringing me to perfection everyday untill in His image I will stay.

When we really Love someone as you know Ron we want to give them our all, God does not hold any of His Love back from us He gives 100% can we give less and then still claim to have His Love for Him and others, this is why we must ask for His Love our fleshy wordly love is just a dim reflection of His.

Because I am a Christian – because my loving heavenly Father gave His best, His only Son, for me – because He adopted me into His own family as a blood-bought child of God, an heir of His and a joint-heir with Christ – because He has given me every resource of heaven to enable me to live a victorious Christ life – because He is my constant Guide, Companion, Strength, Challenger, Enabler, and so much more – because I love Him – I gladly follow Him, enjoying the REALITY of His prersence, and I look for the day when He will take me home to be with Him forever.

Hi John, thank you for your kind words, I’m pleased it inspired you, perhaps more detail will be need to be added in the future or it may have already been said but I believe as with all that I share about God’s Truth that I’m lead in what I write and it is confirmed in Scripture but I know I’m still learning and I’m eager and excited about doing so, Jesus is our only Teacher and will lead us into all Truth by the empowering of The Holy Spirit.
